Due to a variety of factors, RX7s are not vehicles known for their longevity.

My 85 had 174k miles on it and was still going strong when I sold it to a fellow oppo user.  He has since put quite a few miles on it.  Pretty sure it is the same with any vehicle, proper care and maintenance are more important than anything.
